NOTHING ELSE TO DO
Quietly I sit here, nothing else to do,
Underneath the sky so blue,
The suns golden rays of warmth upon my face.
Worries and fears vanish without a trace.
Everywhere, behold the beauty of the earth.
I take it in for all its worth.
Butterflies dance all around me,
And I can hear the buzzing of a bee.
The gently rocking of the treetops to and fro,
As the wind blows nice and slow.
The birds sing melodies high up in the tree.
Closing my eyes, my mind is set free.
Quietly I sit here, nothing else to do
